From the Columbia Alumnae Association president...

As I think back to my own Bid Day, and all the anticipation and excitement that surrounded me as I began the first leg of my journey with Kappa as a new member on that hot August day. And many Kappas will tell you that the best time of their lives was during their undergraduate years in college as they enjoyed the thrills of active life.  Having passed through the first two phases of sisterhood in Kappa, the third phase, as an alumna is an easy ride. The Alumnae Association exists to provide sisterhood to Kappas in all stages of their lives. Some alumnae dedicate themselves to serving our local Epsilon Kappa chapter. Others enjoy the social aspect of mingling with other women who share their Kappa bond. And still others just enjoy belonging to such a special group. If time constraints have prevented you from enjoying the benefits of belonging to the alumnae association, give some thought to making room in your life for just one alum event this year. You will be surprised at how easy you can reconnect. And don’t forget to wear your golden key. No matter what changes in your life, it always fits!

Loyally,
Olivia Stafford
