The bible says that there is only ONE WAY to heaven (no short cuts). The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. Like I explained in the previous page (In the beginning). Jesus bridged the gap for man to come back to God.
God does not want anyone to PERISH. It is not God's will that any should perish, but that ALL should have eternal life through HIM.
God has sent His witnessess into the world to testify of His great Love and FREE gift of Salvation. To tell them of His ways and to let them know that HE LOVES THEM and wants them to have eternal life. The witnessess must warn people. The bible says that "the wages of Sin is death". If people decide to go on living the way they please and without Christ in their lives - they are without hope. The bible makes it quite clear - if we don't accept Christ's offer to us - we will suffer the consequences. Any loving parent knows that they would go out of there way to protect their children from danger. For instance a parent would warn a child not to put their hand on the cooker when it is on, because obviously they would get burned if they wern't warned. If the child is obedient and listens to the wise parent, they will be SAVED from being burnt. On the other hand if they continue to do what they have been warned not to do - they will suffer the consequences.
Remember! - It is not God's will that ANY SHOULD PERISH, but, that everyone will have eternal life through Him. It is our jobs as Christians to WARN people. Because of my own experience, I have it upon my heart to warn others. I never thought that I would become a Christian - I used to think that a Christian's life would be boring. I was living it up, or so I thought! In reality I was without Christ and without Hope. So take it from a person who has "been there - done that - and wore the t-shirt", that there is no JOY like the JOY OF THE LORD. There is no PEACE like the PEACE OF GOD!!
Finally, If we have done our job as Christians - and you have not accepted after hearing this warning. On that day when you will stand before God - you will have no excuse (read about excuses that we make for not accepting Christ in "Is Jesus the Answer"). On that day it will be too late to accept this great offer of salvation.
God allows you the opportunity to choose for yourself, He has given us a free will. He will not force us. But, He stands and awaits for your return with open arms. Come unto ME all you who are weary and I will give you rest.
