The bible tells us that God created the heavens and the earth. Not like some believe that the earth started with a bang!! If that was the case who created the bang in the first place?? Or some people believe that we evolved from apes, again if that was the case where did the apes come from?

Those of us who have been saved by the power of God are witnesses to His Saving Grace, His Power, His Peace, His Love, His Mercy, His Joy.....and so we could go on!! How can one explain the fact that there are countless born-again Christians?

In the beginning............God created Adam and Eve. To cut a long story short, this is what happened. God told them NOT TO eat of the forbidden tree. They both disobeyed God, and as a result of their disobedience sin entered the world..........by one mans disobedience sin entered the world! That meant that everyone who was born on earth thereafter were born sinners through inheritance. Because of this God had to find a way to bring man back to himself, see the pic below:

Now we have a better understanding of how sin entered the world to begin with. Like the picture demonstrates sin entered the world, sin separates man from God, Jesus comes and bridges the gap that separates us from God. That is why the bible says that we can only have eternal life through Jesus. Jesus is the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but through Jesus. We all have a sinful nature. What is a sinful nature?? Robbing, Killing, Jealousy, Pride, Anger, Gossip, Lies, Cheating, etc etc..... We all have that sinful nature - it was born in us. The fact is that because God created us - we belong to Him. And He wants us all to come back to Him, so that we can experience TRUE peace, joy, love .....................God provided a way back to Him and that was through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus paid the price for our sin. He shed precious blood. He DIED in our place. He hung on that cross for the WHOLE WORLD (no-one excluded)! Because He was sinless, spotless - He created a way back to God, that we might have eternal life through Him. Come on lets face it what person in this world would take your place if you had to be punished? If you were on death row - is their a person on this earth that would take your place? If you got into any kind of trouble is their someone who would come and bridge that gap and take the blame for you? Ask yourself the question - would you take someone elses punishment? I think NOT. But, you know something Jesus took OUR place. He was crucified for us. When He was on that cross you and I were on HIS mind. Because He loved us so much, He died for us. What LOVE!!
