FINAL STATEMENT
I certify on honor that Moses Parsons a Private of Captain James W.
Williamsons Company “K” of the 11th Regt of Infty Vols of the State of West
Virginia, born in Jackson County State of VA age 18 years; 5 feet 7 1/4
inches high; Fair complex; Gray eyes; Dark hair;  and by occupation a Farmer
having joined the company o
r the original organization at Ravenswood, WVA
and enrolled into the service of the United States at Ravenswood, WVA on the
31 day of August 1862 (or was  mustered in the service as a recruit,by  at
on the  day of  186
to serve in the Regiment for the term of 3 Years and having served honestly
and faithfully with his Company in WVAto the present date is now entitled to
a discharge by reason of  Death by drowning.
The said Moses Parsons was last paid by Paymaster Major Beazell to include
the 31 day of Dec 1863 and has pay due him from that time to the present
date; he Is entitled to pay and subsistence for traveling to place of
enrollment and whatever allowances are authorized to volunteer soldiers or
militia so discharged.  He has received dollars advanced by the United
States on
account of clothing                                     There is to be
stopped from him on account of the State of          or other authorities
for clothing & c received    on entering the service dollars,also for
traveling from place of enrollment to the place of rendezvous  amounting
todollars;. and on account of the United States for extra clothing received
in kind from         and for other stoppages, viz   Received when mustered
into US service   advance bounty amounting to 25
dollars; and he has been subsisted for traveling to his place of enrollment,
up to the  186
         He is indebted to  Sutler           dollars.
         He is indebted to       Laundres       dollars.
Due soldier on account of clothing($5.20) five dollars & 20 cents.
