Elizabeth Parvu
Class Offered Featuring Sugar Artist Beth Parvu
Colorado International Cake Exploration Societe� is excited to offer an all-day sugar art class with well-known sugar artist and owner of Sugarpaste LLC, Beth Parvu.  Learn to make the big vibrant hibiscus flower.  Beth is known for her velvety brush stroke work layering colors for a natural life-like effect.  Her hibiscus is a breath-taking dramatic example of this layering technique that she has perfected and is excited to teach you.

Other gumpaste techniques she will be teaching include the timeless exquisite orchid, realistic feathers, and the lacy fern.  Sign up now to make sure your spot is reserved.  You don�t want to miss this one!

The class will be held from 9:00-5:00 at Cake Crafts in Englewood, CO, Monday, February 9th, after the Sweet Times in the Rockies Cake Show scheduled for February 7 and 8 at the Colorado Convention Center. Tuition is $100 for a full day of unforgettable hands-on instruction with Beth.

There will be a 50% non-refundable deposit due by January 28th.  The balance will be due at the beginning of the class.  Beth will be providing some of the supplies for the class, but a supply list for other things will be sent to you after registration has been received.

Elizabeth Parvu is the owner of
Sugarpaste, LLC, and www.sugarpaste.com.  She co-owns Crystal Colors LLC with her husband Ronald.
Elizabeth is a recognized around the world for her Sugar Flowers and award wining cake designs.  She has been published numerous times in American Cake Decorating Magazine, Cake& Craft Decoration Magazine (England) and last year was in listed in Gourmet Magazine in the December issue.

Elizabeth is International Cake Exploration Societie demonstrator and approved scholarship teacher.  She has demonstrated for the last 9 years for the Ices Annual Convention.

Elizabeth has recently demonstrated for the Southeast Regional Convention for the American Culinary Federation held in Nashville, Tennessee. 
Elizabeth has taught for Walter State Community College in Sevierville, Tennessee. 
Elizabeth is an adjunct professor for Anne Arundel Community College in Baltimore, Maryland for their culinary division.

Elizabeth has traveled to South Africa and England to respectively demonstrate for the South African Sugar Art Guild Exhibition in Pretoria, South Africa and The British Sugarcraft Guild Exhibition held in Telford, England.

Elizabeth has judged several national cake shows and local cake shows.  She is a sponsor the Mid-Atlantic Cake Show held in Maryland.

Elizabeth has been on television multiple times involving wedding cakes and pastry ideas for the homemaker.
