You play against whoever matches your colour and sides. For example, Gogeta plays against Karakal while Mao Mao goes against Casper. If Gogeta or Karakal wins, one of them will advance to the Second Round of Side A1. Casper and Mao Mao will do the same thing. One of them win, advances to the next round except to Side B1.
