Organised by Bob " Frostie" Frost through his company Pulse Racing, Frostie , Roscoe, Daniel and Mark put on a jetsprint event for the 40th birthday of a customer. It was held at Kiauia, (south of Auckland) and occupied the afternoon of Saturday 3 September.
20 people competed aging from 8 years to 60 years of age.
The format followed the following:
-one on one training of the competitors. Roscoe, Frostie and Daniel took out each and instructed them on the handling characteristics. Then one run through the course.
-one timed - but not counting - run throught the course with the competitors driving and the navigators being either Roscoe, Daniel or Frostie. This gave the competitors an idea of their time relative to others.
- two timed runs, with the lowest combined time winning.
Once the times started coming the tension built up and the wisecracks flowed. A great afternoon had by all.
