Thomas Daniel, 77, Died Last Sat.

Another pioneer passed away last Saturday at noon when the spirit of Mr. Thomas Daniel, of Bridgetown, took its flight. He had been ill about 15 days due to old age and many complications. He was 77 years of age.

The funeral service was held at Mr. Union Church, the services being conducted by Rev. Booth. The interment took place at Paulk Cemetery close by, on Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock.

The deceased is survived by his wife and children, including a step son, Mr. Charlie Smith, of this city.

Mr. Daniel was one of the county's prominent citizens, and during his long life had done much for his fellow man. He was called on in the community in which he lived for anything that was needed to help out in a material way and for the good of his community. he was a splendid neighbor and friend, and lived thru the days when this country began its great development. His place will be hard to fill.

The Douglas Undertaking Co. has charge of the funeral arrangements.
