| Cody Brown Birth Place: Victoria, BC Born: November 14, 1984 Age:20 Racing Career Go-Karting Started racing go-karts at age 10 with a 4 cycle Briggs & Stratton Graduated to a 2 cycle Yamaha Kiwi cart at age 11 & raced for 2 years Achieved varied success, trophy dash, heat races & main event wins at Western, Cassidy & Saratoga Speedways Retired from go-karting when he became too tall to fit Stock Car Series: 2000 Season At age 15, had the most top 10 finishes ( 11 out of 12 races) of any driver in the Stock Car division Finished every race during that season, the only driver to do so. Finished 6th in points in his Rookie Season Was presented with the "Most Improved Driver" award at the annual Banquet for the Stock Car division 2001 Season At age 16, had the most second place finishes of any driver, 6 out of 12 main events for the season Won trophy dashes, heat races & still striving for the first main event win Finished 3rd in points for the season The race car & crew were awarded the "Best Appearing Car" for the season as voted by other race car teams. 2002 Season Finished 4th In points for the season Won poles and fast heats Had the fastest "fast time" at 18.32 2003 Season 6TH in points. Up and down year. No main event wins. Heat race and trophy dash wins 2004 Season 9th in points. Very disappointing year. Had very fast car all year but could not stay out of trouble and breaking parts. Finished the year in the back wall after qualifing 2nd again. Awarded with "Best Appearing Crew" at final awards party Sportsman Series: 2005 Goals Win a race for the team. Finsih in top 5 throughtout the year and in the top 5 in points |
