Cody Deaner and WWE: Cody Deaner has been invited to attend the WWE tryouts in Ottawa on Sept. 19th, 2006. But that's not all! Cody will also be at the WWE - "Unforgiven" Pay-Per-View in Toronto on Sept. 17th, and he'll also be at the WWE - Supershow in Montreal on Sept. 18th! Cody plans to show the WWE just how much he can GIVER, and GET 'ER DONE!
Ballpark Brawl: At this year's Ballpark Brawl, Cody made a surprise appearance during Sgt. Slaughter's birthday celebration. Cody played his "Throw the Ball in a Bucket" game with a local kid from Buffalo. After he punked the kid out, he berated the American fans. So ... Slaughter came out to take care of Cody the "maggot." Deaner tried to apologize by offering Slaughter a birthday cake. But, when Slaughter turned his back, Cody tried to hit him with the cake. However, Slaughter moved and the cake went all over the Ballpark Brawl promoter: Chris Hill! THEN, Slaughter put Cody in the Cobra Clutch and allowed Chris Hill to throw some cake in Cody's face.
Cody's Southern Tour: Cody just returned from a Southern tour that saw him wrestler in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana. Check out the results page for the results from Cody's Southern Tour.
OIW 2006 AWARDS: The results are in, and Cody is ranked the #1 wrestler in Ontario to be the "Next Breakout Star." Cody was also voted as the #1 "Best Gimmick." Cody's rebuttal? "It's not a gimmick. When you're hair is as wicked awesome as mine, you LIVE your gimmick!"
