| I think the new buildings were added on in two stages. In 1970 was the last phase when the school became fully Comprehensive. Before this time pupils had taken the Eleven Plus and some of them had gone to either the Boy's Grammar School or the Girl's High School and Codsall had been an 11-16 school. When the change occurred M Gibbs, who had been the Headmaster, retired and Mr Mitson took over the school and reorganised it. |
