Tony joined Grimsby from the youth team in the 1974/1975 season. Tony left Town in the 1985 but returned for a second spell in 1991. He is now the Barnsley player/assistant manager after joining the club through tykes boss Steve Parkin who left Ford`s former club Rochdale to take up the position at the Yorkshire club. Tony is expected to retire at the end of the 2001/2002 season. |

| Paul Trollope Current Club:Fulham Former Clubs:Swindon,Torquay,Derby,Grimsby,Crystal Palace Nationality:English Paul signed for Grimsby for 2 months on loan from Premiership newcomers Derby County in the 1996/1997 season. Paul scored in his time at Blundell Park and impressed, the strong centre back was pretty hard and bulky at the back. Paul joined Fulham in 1997 and is still at the Premiership side despite never playing in the first team for nearly over a year now. Paul is still commited to the club however and has rejected certain transfers away from Craven Cottage. |

| Darren Wrack Current Club:Walsall Former Clubs:Derby,Grimsby,Shrewsbury(Loan) Nationality:English Darren joined Grimsby in the 1997 from Premiership side Derby County. Darren was not a favoured player at Grimsby and was rarely given a chance by Alan Buckley before he was sold to Walsall at the end of the 1997/1998 season. Some Town fans think Darren should have stayed on at Grimsby, after seeing his excellent peformances and habbit for scoring in the last few years. But at Grimsby Darren rarely put in a good peformance and never adapted or fitted in with the way Town played there football. |

| Tommy Widdrington Current Club:Hartlepool Utd Former Clubs:Southampton,Wigan(Loan),Grimsby,Port Vale Nationality:English Tommy joined Grimsby from Southampton for �300,000 at the start of the 1996/1997 season. Tommy helped Town in 3 seasons, but his career was partly ruined by his injurys. Tommy moved away from Blundell Park to fellow First Division side Port Vale at the end of the 1998/1999 season. Tommy spent only 1 year at Vale before joining Thrid Division side Hartlepool United on a free transfer at the start of the 2000/2001 season. |

| Peter Butler Current Club:No Club(Retired) Former Clubs:Huddersfield,Cambridge,Bury,Southend,West Ham,Notts County,Grimsby,West Brom,Halifax Nationality:English Peter joined Town on loan for a month in the 1995/996 season from Notts County. The former West Ham player played around 5 games for The Mariners before returning to Notts County. Peter retired from professional football at the end of the 1999/2000 season with Halifax. |
