David never played at all all season and was released on mutual consent close to the end of the season. David joined Town after impressing on a 4 week trial period from Sunderland in the 2000/2001 season. David was a strong defender but was never ready for 1st team football. Morgan joined Confrence side Gateshead a few months after being released. |

Ross never made a first team apperance while at Town. Ross was released along with David Morgan on a free transfer. Ross is expected to join either Scunthorpe,Hull,Lincoln or Grantham. Ross also spent along time on loan with Gainsborough in the 2000/2001 season. |

| Graham Rodger Current Club:Grimsby(Assistant Manager) Former Clubs:Wolves,Coventry,Luton,Grimsby,Mansfield Nationality:English Graham joined Grimsby in the early 1990s. Graham stayed with Town for a long while and picked up a player of the year award. The reliable centre back was released on a free transfer by Alan Buckley at the end of the 1997/1998 season. Graham was snapped up by Mansfield boss Billy Dearden. Graham played a small part in what he had at The Stags before retiring at the end of the 1999/2000 season to take up a job as the Community Officer at Grimsby. Graham was promoted to coach by Lennie Lawrence before being appointed assitant manager when Paul Groves became boss. |

Nigel scored 2 goals in 6 apperances in a Town shirt. The veteran striker is still in favour with Third Divison Shrewsbury Town. |

| Paul Jewell Current Club:Wigan Athletic(Manager) Former Clubs:Liverpool,Wigan,Bradford,Grimsby Nationality:English Paul Jewell joined Town on loan from Bradford in the 1995/1996 season for 2 months. Paul played 5 games and scored once in his time at Town. Paul retired after returning to Bradford where he becmae manager a few years later. Paul also managed Sheffield Wednesday before taking over at Wigan. |
