Michael Jeffrey
Michael Jeffrey
Current Club:No Club
Former Clubs:Bolton,Doncaster,Newcastle,Rotherham,Fortuna Sittard,Kilmarnock,Grimsby,Scunthorpe
Nationality:English

Michael the donkey Jeffrey named by some of my fellow fans. Jeffrey never got the jist of playing good football for Grimsby even though when he did he did it to a reasonable standard. Jeffrey signed from Kilmarnock at the start of the 2000/2001 season, he soon became unwanted by the fans but amazingly Lawrence kept Jeffrey on into the 2001/2002 season. Michale was loaned out to Scunthorpe United where he scored on his debut towards the end of his last season. Paul Groves then decided to release Jeffrey from his contract.
Martin Pringle
Martin Pringle
Current Club:Charlton Atheltic
Former Clubs:Helsingborgs,Benfica,Charlton,Grimsby
Nationality:Swedish

Martin Pringle a superb sigining for Town on loan from Chalton in the 2001/2002 season. Pringle is a huge Premiersjip player and it was a huge suprise for Town to sign him, even though Pringle had been injured for over a year. Martin played in Towns 0-0 away draw at Nottingham Forest before dazzling the crowd in Towns 3-1 win over Stockport at Blundell Park. Sadly Dave Challinor a Stcokport defender made an awful foul on Pringle to end his Town career and put him out of the game for another year.
Michael Boulding
Michael Boulding
Current Club:Aston Villa
Former Clubs:Hallam,Man Utd,Mansfield,Grimsby
Nationality:English

Michael or Mick Boulding joined Town on a free transfer from Mansfield Town 2 months into the 2001/2002 season. Boulding soon made his way into the first team and then the regular 11 line up. To most Town fans enjoyment Boulding smashed home 11 goals in the whole season and earning himself to be the fans favourate. With the prospect of a new star at Town, the club felt excitment though other clubs were starting to look at Boulding after his contract ran out at the end of the season. Mick was trialed with Middlesborough before upsetting the Town fans and joining Aston Villa.
Ben Chapman
Ben Chapman
Current Club:Boston United
Former Clubbs:Grimsby
Nationality:English

Ben Chapman joined Town from the youth team near the end of the 1998/1999 season and soon started settling as a comfortable sub 1 year later. Ben put endless ammounts of pressure on Tony Gallimore while at the club. Ben soon filled in for Gallimore or even Stuart Campbell on the left wing a  couple of times last season, it was a shame to see such a promissing player released and given to a third division team.
Wayne Burnett
Wayne Burnett

Wayne Burnett joined Town on loan from Huddersfield Town close to the end of the 1997/1998 for 1 month before joining the club on a permanent basis. Wayne scored the golden goal which gave Town the Auto Windscreen Shield in 1998 at Wembley. Since 98 Burnett`s career has been full of injury, but no one expected him to be released like he was at the end of the 2001/2002 season. Burnett has trained with Southened and Oxford amongst other clubs but looks set to sign for Confrence favourates Dagenham and Redbridge.
