Current Club:Swansea City
Former Clubs:Coventry,Bournemouth,Birmingham,West Brom,Grimsby
Nationality:English

David Smith signed for Town from West Brom midway through the 1997/1998 season for 200,000. Smith like Wayne Burnett has had a nasty time with injuries and hopes a move to Swansea City in the third division may give him a regular first team place and a quicker road back to full fitness. Smudger will be a great player in the third division and I wish he does well for himself as he was a great Town servant, a really loyal player.
