Ronald Ermes
Ronald Ermes
Current Club:No Club
Former Clubs:Feyenoord,Grimsby
Nationality:Dutch

Ronald Ermes signed from Dutch Premiership side Feyenoord along with fellow youngster Robby Busscher. Ronald was used as Towns sub keeper while Steve Croudson was on loan with Scunthorpe United. Ronald and Robby were both released when Paul Groves took charge, though Ronald did have a trial at the club again months later and played in 2 reserve matches. Ronald was reported to have signed for Sheffield Wednesday but that was later dismissed after failing to impress on trial. Latest news is that Ronald is back training in Holland.

Willie Falconer
Willie Falconer
Current Club:Clyde
Former Clubs:Aberdeen,Celtic,Watford,Motherwell,Aberdeen,St Johnstone,Grimsby
Nationality:Scottish

Willie Falconer signed for Grimsby Town on the transfer deadline day of the 2001/2002 season on a free trasfer from St Johnstone. Willie seems to have been the biggest waste of time ever in Paul Groves life. Willie played 3 reserve games and only made the Town team once as a sub but Willie never came on. Falconer signed a contract till the end of the season and as expected Groves did not decide to offer the veteran striker a new one and his 2 month Town career came to an end. A month later Willie joined Scottish minnows Clyde.
Bradley Allen
Bradley Allen
Current Club:Peterborough Utd
Former Clubs:QPR,Colchester,Charlton,Grimsby
Nationality:English

Bradley signed for Town from Charlton Athletic at the start of the 1999/2000 season. Braders took a while to settle but soon became a first team regular. In the 2001/2202 season amazingly Bradley kept his place in the main starting 11 despite being under pressue from the likes off Robinson,Falconer,Jevons,Rowan,Thompson,Taylor and Livingstone. Sadly thanks to the ITV Digital collapse Town did not have enough money to offer Allen a nw contract and so there was no other choice but to release him at the end of the year. Bradley finally joined Peterborough United despite being linked with Cypriot Premiership side  Apoel Nicosia
Paul Robinson
Paul Robinson
Current Club:Wimbledon(Grimsby Loan)
Former Clubs:Darlington,Newcastle,Wimbledon,Grimsby
Nationality:English

Paul was another striker signed on the 2001/2002 transfer deadline day. A great loan signing Paul proved to be coming of the bench twice to prove himself as a great footballer. Robinson however never starteda match due to the fact that no one could break up the partnership of Allen and Boulding. Paul returned to Selhurst Park after a month at the club, and judging by the way he playd he would be welcome back to Blundell Park in the very near future. Paul has now joined Town again on a months loan for the 2002/2003 season.
Menno Willems
Menno Willems
Current Club:Haarlem
Former Clubs:Den Bosch,Ajax,Vitesse Arnhem,Grimsby
Nationality:Dutch

Menno joined Grimsby on loan from Vitesse Arnhem in the 2000/2001 season and impressed greatly. Menno earned himself the chance to extend his loan stay and jumped at the chance. Willems also weeks later signed for the club for around 200,000, the former Ajax favourate soon became a bit of a donkey and hardly played for Town after his injury in the 2001/2002 season near Christmas. Menno was the highest paid player at the club and his peformances made Groves decide that he is just not worth keeping, so Menno was released on a free transfer at the end of the season, and later joined Haarlem.
