Shaun the former skipper of Grimsby joined in 1987 from Wrexham. Shaun stayed with The Mariners for many years up until the 1990/1991 season when he joined Sunderland. Shaun later went on to play for Kidderminster Harriers where he decided to hang up his boots and coach the team.

Mark joined Town on loan from Arsenal in the 1995/1996 season. He was not a hit at Town and he only made 5 apperances while at Town. Mark was dropped to the Town reserves when he made a fuss at only being a sub away at West Brom. Mark later joined Watford before deciding to end his 4 year career.

Ian Knight was look set for a bright England International career before a career threatning injury made the dream inpossible. Ian once recovered joined Town. Ian showed bits of his former self while at Grimsby, but yet another injury wrecked and ended his career. Ian went on to be The Youth community officer and then The Youth boss.

Brian joined Town from Nottingham Forest in the 1994/1995 season. After the sacking of Alan Buckley at the end of the season, Brian was appointed Player/Manager of Town. Brian played and managed most of the 1995/1996 season before being sacked after hitting Ivano Bonetti with a plate after a row in the changing rooms. Brian is now in charge of local side Scunthorpe United.

Paul the young understudy keeper to Rhys Wilmot played from 1988 to 1991 before joining Oxford. Pauls career never took off and he retired after his first year at West Brom which was the 1994/1995 season.

Johnny joined Town on a free from Clydebank in the 1995/1996 season. Johnny rarely played and made around 3 apperances scoring once in 2 years at Blundell Park. Johnny was flogged to Mansfield midway through the 1996/1997 season to Third Division Mansfield. Johnny was released on a free transfer at the end of the 1998/1999 seson and was snapped up by an unknown Scottish non-league side.
