My son Garret, has been taken care of by Lupe, associates and family, for the last four years.  As a first time mother, I know the anxiety of trusting someone to care for your infant or child.  My son was only ten weeks old when I had to return to my full-time position.  It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.  Lupe, associates and family are the most loving, caring, trustworthy people and it has been a pleasure leaving Garret in their care.  Garret loves seeing Lupe, and will miss her very much.  Garret at age 4 knows his alphabet, colors, numbers, has computer skills, is perfecting his coloring skills and writing skills, directly as result of Lupe's teaching.  He comes home with great projects, crafts, lessons, and stories of the fun things he did each day.

Re: Letter of Recommendation for Lupe

I am writing this letter in support of the outstanding care that Lupe and her family and staff have provided for our daughter, Jennifer, from the time she was five months old until she was almost three and a half years old.

During the time that Jennifer was in lupe's care, I can honestly and  confidently say that I knew that Jennifer was in excellent hands and always safe, well taken care of, and part of Lupe's extended family.  When Jennifer left in September to attend preschool at a private school (to ensure we could get her in for future years), it was really very hard to say goodbye to the family-they have been so much a part of our lives.

Lupe and her family and staff are very loving, caring and nurturing.  It is just so evident that she really cares for her kids and she works with each individually to bring out the best in them (and correct the behaviors in need of correction).  She is great with the babies, giving them things to stimulate their development, and is great with the toddlers and preschoolers, giving them a lots of opportunity for play and learning.  As anyone will see when they come to the house to visit, the downstairs is clearly devoted to the kids.  There are age-appropriate toys in every room and for the toddlers and preschoolers; the ability to learn shapes, colors, numbers and letters on the computer and in other group games is terrific.  It is not daycare, it is a life-learning home.  Every week there are different themes and  a lot of involvement with the kids in creating crafts, projects and in completing early schoolwork.  The kids have all been very loving and well-behaved and Lupe is very good with them all.

Lupe also goes out of her way to make holidays special by having the kids work on projects for their parents and family.  Examples have included beautiful shadow picture silhouettes, t-shirts with a handprint, handprint wall hangings, etc.  They are fun for the kids to prepare and memorable keepsakes for the parents.  Every week Jennifer would come home with a variety of cool projects from paintings to books, to wall hangings and Jennifer was quite proud of them all.  We have a lot of great lasting memories of Jennifer's time at the daycare.

In looking at how Lupe and her family and staff interact with the kids, it is clear that they are all part of an extended family.  They are obviously enjoy watching the kids develop and offer many opportunities for them to do so.  Additionally, holidays and birthdays are big events that everyone celebrates.  The daycare also put on potlucks several times a year in order for the parents to meet one another.  Another important benefit is that  Lupe was always available to keep Jennifer after hours, if needed.  There were several times when my husband and my work schedules required us to be out of town past the usual pickup time, but that was never a problem. 

Lupe is also always ready to tackle the special needs of her children.  Jennifer had a food allergies to peanuts, wheat and soy.  The peanut allergy is life-threatening, so we were concerned that everyone taking care of her be vigilant about the types of foods she ate.  Lupe was always very careful to make sure that Jennifer had separate main meals and snacks from the other kids.  Also, the kids all eat very healthy meals, which is something that once you get to preschool and elementary school is a rare commodity.  She was also very careful to make sure the kids were never outside without sunscreen on.  These are just a few of the many special things that Lupe does that you appreciate when your child is here care, and miss when they move to their next school experience. 

We were so fortunate to have found Lupe and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, responsible, loving and nurturing person to share in the care giving  responsibilities with your child.  Please feel free to call me if you have any questions or would like additional information regarding our experience.

Re:  Allbrightabc Daycare

The purpose of this letter is to recommend Lupe  as a daycare provider.

My wife and I both work full time, and in August of 2001, our son was born.  For the first four months we were able to care for our child with maternity leave and grandparents, but in January, we needed daycare for him.

We interviewed and visited with Lupe at the suggestion of friends whose 3 year-old child was enrolled with Lupe at the time.  We were immediately impressed with the home-style design, and cleanliness of the play area.  In truth, we did not investigate any further after our encounter. 

When our son was an infant, Lupe provided his own isolated crib in an infant room, and she documented feedings, diapers and comments daily.  We had reservations about illness at daycare, but those fears did not materialize.  Our son did have the occasional cold and flu, but no less than his peers. 

As he grew, he certainly benefited from the older children toddlers and preschoolers, and patterned his play, speech and behaviors around the more mature kids.  Every parent brags about his/her child's achievements, but we truly believe that his accelerated development is a result of his environment.

Now that our son is a toddler, he does arts and crafts, and education games with the other children, staff and computer games as well.  He likes going to see Lupe and his friends (whom he knows by name) in the morning, and is also happy to come home at the end of the day.

Our son has been attending this daycare for 18 months now.  If not for our recent move, he would have likely continue there through her preschool program.  He learns something everyday, and is clearly loved while there.

We trust Lupe like a family member.

Dear Lupe:

We would like to express to you how invaluable you have been to us and to our daughter Morgan over the last year in daycare service.  It is always difficult to entrust your child to anyone while you must be away at work, but you have made it easy for us.  We know that when Morgan is with you, she is in the best of hands and there is not need to be concerned about her welfare.  You are so dependable and trustworthy, and you have demonstrated to us over and over again your ability to run a top-notch establishment.  We appreciated your constant attentiveness to the organization and cleanliness of your daycare, and your extreme devotion to the children.  We appreciate your dedication to Morgan's education and happiness, and, most importantly, we appreciate the love that you have shown her everyday while in your care.  Morgan is going to miss you dearly next year.  She has really grown and matured over the last several months, and we owe a lot of that to you.  We strongly regret needing to take her our of your care when we move to North Carolina next month.  You are irreplaceable!

Please have future clients contact us if we can provide them with any specific information about your services.  Anyone who is able to place their child in your care should feel extremely lucky; there is no better daycare provider in Southern California, and likely the country for that matter!

Both of our children started at Lupe's from the time they were six weeks old.  Our oldest son Michael was there until he started kindergarten.  Our youngest son Jeremy was 3.5 years old when he left.  We moved him closer to home because of job location changes.

We felt blessed to have found Lupe.  When we first met her and toured the daycare, we know the kids would be in good hands.  After 7 years, we can confidently say that they were in great hands.  Her genuine love & caring is what made the difference.  Both Michael & Jeremy's lives were much enriched by being there.

When we decided to put our son into daycare, we went through many different day care centers as well as home day care.  We called the agency that overlooks day care to find the best fit for us.  Then we came across AllbrightABC.  My husband and I were very impressed from the moment that we called to make an appointment to interview with the daycare.  Lupe provided us with a website to refer to prior to coming in, she even called the morning of our appointment to confirm.  Once we got there, we saw how clean the place was...just like my home!  She went over the daily routine and some of the programs that she has implemented into the program.  We went back several times with our son to see what the kids were like at different hours.  We found nothing but good things.  So we signed on!

Lupe was so caring and understanding through the change for our son.  She gave him a little extra attention while he adjusted to not having mommy and daddy with him.  She gave us updates on how he was doing.  Now, we can't imagine life without Lupe and the kids!  They are great!!  The best choice that we could've made!

We recommend AllbrightABC Daycare to anyone seeking high quality childcare for toddler or preschool age children.  Our son has learned so much under Lupe's care.  His language and vocabulary blossomed during his time there.  He is a lot more comfortable interacting with other kids and calls all kids his friends even though he does not them personally.  Having been raised the first two years of his life at home, we had hoped a home care would be next step to introduce him to other kids and other ways to play and learn.  Lupe has dedicated her entire home to create a fun and inviting atmosphere for the kids to learn and grow.  With the low provider-to-child ratio, the personal attention each child receives is invaluable.  Also, knowing that Lupe will always be there (no staff turnover) for the kids helps kids develop healthy emotional attachments early in life.

Not only does Lupe provide the attention  and love kids need, she also has a preschool program and a variety of planned activities designed to stimulate and engage children through play and exploration.  In addition, she helps kids learn to interact with each other respectfully and teaches them good manners and values.  Building good character is something you will not find in most daycare centers, yet it is probably the most important thing to develop.
