It was a dark and stormy night... No, really, the weather was awful the night that we found Cocoa in a ditch by the side of the road. It was sleeting and nasty as only February can be, and this poor scraggly looking dog limped up and said, "I really need a friend." Cocoa went  from being a throw-away dog to the proud holder of 3 obedience titles, a rally title, 18 agility titles (and many partial titles), and a Canine Good Citizen certificate. Cocoa was also the #1 Labrador Retriever in AKC Novice Standard and AKC Novice Jumpers with Weaves agility for the year 2000, as ranked by "Front and Finish."
Cocoa is now running agility courses of his own design, consisting mainly of jumps and A-frames, at the Rainbow Bridge.
