Butch

Butch 5-26-1993-5-12-2005
When he was a pup he had a wheeze and we almost named him that but couldn't quite be that cruel, so we named him Butcher Boy and boy was that an apt name. He butchered everything he could lay his teeth into.
When it came to people though all he wanted was a warm leg to lay against and his blankie. He would give me this look and I would ask if he wanted his blankie and up went his ears. Cover him from top of his head to his tail and he was in heaven. We love you and miss you  Baby Boy.

Buffy Sept 1, 1992 - Aug. 22, 2006
My husband came to the Library one afternoon with this tiny bundle of joy in his jacket pocket and set her on my desk and said I think this is the right one! It had been five years since we lost our Heidi!
Buffy’s registered name was Princess Di, but from the beginning she was the Queen and she made sure everyone knew it. Up until the morning that she went to the bridge she was giving Max hell about something.
Buffy loved to play ball with the lemons that fell off the tree, she would carry them around for hours after she caught them. She would push them under the chain link fence so the kids next door would throw them back to her!
Buffy was the love of my life and I miss her so much, but I know she is free of all pain and is running and chasing birds and butterflies.

Berry 04-06-1994 to 04-26-2006

Berry joined our family in 1997, when she was 3 years old. She was a shy little girl who loved her “cocker” balls and rolling in the grass and snow. We worked on her shyness by having her meet people who gave her “cookies”. Since she didn’t like crowds, I tried tracking with her and she loved it. Occasionally she was willing to do obedience with one of her “brothers” in a brace. When she found out that some agility had just tunnels, she started having fun. Then, right after her 12th birthday, I found out she had leukemia and two weeks later she crossed the rainbow bridge.
