Scooter
Scooter went to the Bridge on 12/3/04.
Scooter came into my life as a temporary  foster for  FOC. The minute I saw this sweet, frighten girl, get off the plane I hoped she wouldn't leave. She was the sweetest, most gentle girl who loved to cuddle with me and charmed everyone who met her. Scooter came from a Ohio shelter and had lost her home when her Mom passed away. We think she was around 12.
Rest in Peace my sweet girl. You were loved.

Max
Max went to the bridge in  early 2004 he was 13 when he came to me in the summer of 2001 . He had been dumped in a shelter at that advanced age when his Mom went into a nursing home and her kids couldn't make room for him. Max was a dapper old guy who ran up and down the hallway with the younger dogs and was first in the kitchen at feeding time.
You are missed dear Maxie.

Sam "Pooh"
October 1. 1989-March 3, 2005
Sam joined our family just before Christmas in one of the coldest winters we ever had. I used a sweater from one of my bears just to take him outside to potty. In spite of his many health problems, Sam had a love for adventure. I can still see him laying between us in our truck on one of our many trips. He always loved to go on walks and explore. No tennis ball was safe from him, we had a collection that he'd gathered in the neighborhood. No matter how far we walked he would carry his prized find back into the house. Sam lived a long life and we were blessed to have him all that time.
We miss you, our handsome boy. Love mommy and daddy.
