This is Cockatielinfo, the owner and webmaster of this website. I am a 9th grader currently. I've had an interest in birds every since 4th or 5th grade when my neighbor Marci, a tiel breeder invited me up to her house one summer. That then and there was the first time I was introduced to this "new bird." Since then, I've had a lot of help with "bird info" from my good Neighbor Marci, especially when I received a Cockatiel as my 13th Birthday present. Marci, is not only a cockatiel breeder, but also works with snakes, and horses! I assumed that 94% of my information is retained is from her. My birthday Bird, named Tiki is a Male Gray Pearlie Pied Whiteface Cockatiel, who is now lost his Pearling (After a year if your tiel is a male they will lose there pearling, as female will hold on to it). Tiki's parents are: the hen (female), Ivory, Whitefaced Lutino, and , the cock (male), a sliver whitefaced, that mated together will give you the Whitefaced, Pearlie Pied tiel.
I am not a vet, and I do not choose to represent myself as one, but I do tend pursue the topic when I reach of age.
