News From Six Flags over Georgia

First of all, my planned trip to SFOG was cancelled for this summer. It's not bad though since the main reason I wanted to go was for Deja Vu. But Deja Vu is just being opened and it would be no fun to wait 2 - 3 hours in line to ride it. But it is open though. Acrophobia has been done and has been scaring the change out of riders pockets since the first ride. And from what I have heard, there are survey flags all around The Viper. Is this the end of Viper? Or is it just an enhancement to the scenery with maybe another ride? Who knows right now but we could be hearing more later in the week or so.

X UPDATE

X is making more progress every day.  I know I am a little behind, I am getting my info from other sites. But back to the point. The raven turn from the drop is now complete. Click HERE to see a picture of it. But every day, it seems more is being done on X.

More From Magic Mountain

Deja Vu is also progressing, but slowly.  The trains have been installed and the test stage should be starting soon. But the construction stage is done with.

X, the world's first 4th Dimension coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain, is coming along pretty good. The lift hill and first drop are complete. The raven turn is being worked on along with the station. There is also a set of supports up for a big turn. The the transfer table is done now too. Here are some pictures courtesy of twistedrails.com: (Click to enlarge)

A questionable track sighting was made by Clint of our Coaster Cave Crew.  We are deciding if it is supports or some type of piping.  He has pictures and we hope to have them soon.
