Coalition for National Day Care

The goal of Coalition for National Day Care is to encourage consideration of implementing a nationalized child care program.

Rationale

  • If both earthly-parents of the child would like to work or need extra-income to support their earthly-family and provide their earthly-child with certain necessities such as a good education, then giving them the option of free, nationalized day care would aid greatly in their betterment.
  • Many private day care centers have been wanting for better supervision of the employees. A nationalized program could mandate that certain requirements, background-checks, etc. be made prior to allowing any individual to work at a day care center.
  • Certain checks could be made on the welfare of the child during the day, such as if the child did not show up at the day care center or the child has not been seen within a certain time frame. If the child's location is unknown then the center's employees could begin a search for the child, such as by contacting the child's earthly-parents. This should greatly reduce situations in which a child is left in a car and dies as a result.
  • More people could go off welfare since they would be freed of the daily-chores required in child rearing and seek and engage in steady employment.

What You Can Do

  • Write your state or area representatives in Congress and the Senate to let them know you support a nationalized day care program.
  • Pray that the deaths of children due to neglect stop and ask the Lord for ways you may help to prevent more of such deaths.
