In this module students will learn about the different ways that products in which we use today
are produced in large quantities.  One way we do this is by having the student program the AGV
(Automatic Guided Vehicle).  The AGV is a robot that demonstrates one type of technology in
use today in many factories around the world. The A.G.V. carries heavy objects from one place to
the other.  The student also will learn about Henry Ford and the moving assembly line that he
first put into use in his automobile manufacturing plants around the country. the students will
describe terms and concepts related to manufacturing technology. the students will apply and
evaluate manufacturing technology.
