Engineering Structures Technology

In this module students will learn about the importance of structure architecture and how we use it in our modern world.  In addition to learning about structure architecture the student will learn about various types of bridges and their basic construction.  Students will also learn about the different designs of bridges, how they work, and what makes one design better than another.  Finally, the students will construct their own bridge using balsa wood and test it for its quality of construction. the students will describe terms and concepts related to engineering structures technology. Students will then apply and evaluate engineering structures.
