p2. February 10-18 Lamentation:    "Happy Valentines Day"
Feb 10. A PRAYER: O God, the Alpha and the Omega, all life begins and ends in you. On the first day of creation, you separated light from darkness. Illuminate places where I can reflect your light-to people and parts of your creation that often go unnoticed and unnamed. Amen.

Feb 11. A PRAYER:  Living Water, body and spirit depend on you for life. In washing dusty, weary feet; in drawing a cool drink from a well; and in healing wounded bodies with your touch and your words-you have shown us, Jesus, that true treasure is the power of water and word to make the world whole. Let me be a vessel of such healing. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

Feb 12. A PRAYER: Father God, you sent your son to be the true vine that nourishes its branches with love. Open my hungry heart to your abundance and the fruit it can bear; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Thank you for blessing me with these gifts meant to be shared. Amen.

Feb 13. A PRAYER: God of infinite mystery, who set the sun, moon, and stars in the dome of the sky, the world you created expands beyond the planet and galaxy I call home. Thank you for the gifts of curiosity and imagination that continue the work of creation. As possibilities, choices, and challenges unfold in my life, help me align my course to your compass. Amen.

Feb 14. A PRAYER: Mother God, like a hen protecting her brood, you keep me close to your heart and teach me the way to live-pushing me to risk flight so that your greater good might soar, calling me to forgive so that your family can live as one. Thank you for the security of your presence with me in all circumstances. Amen.

Feb 15. A PRAYER: God the potter, like an artist works the clay, your imagination has shaped physical matter. I know that I am dust and to dust I will return. During my days on earth, give me a glimpse of creation from your perspective and with your vision. I pray in Jesus name that you will mold my life to serve your purposes. Amen.

Feb 16. A PRAYER: Holy Spirit, today I pray for your wind to refresh my spirit and your spark to rekindle my fire. When I am consumed by busyness or worries or exhaustion, fill me with your breath so that I might breathe more deeply. When I am lost in the pit of depression or despair, send me your word like a lifeline that pulls me from the depths. Thank you for your abiding love. Amen.

Feb 17. A MORNING PRAYER: O day, full of grace, you have made me a creature of darkness and of light. In the light of a new day, I awaken to your purposes. Guide my wakefulness so that I consciously choose words and actions that sing praises and witness to your mercy. Amen.

Feb 18. AN EVENING PRAYER: O day, full of grace, you have made me a creation of light and of darkness. As daylight wanes, I rest in your grace. Hear my confession and forgive me for the ways I have not lived out the purposes you have intended. Your loving presence holds me securely through the night. Amen.
