Walleye          ------->
Tip:
When fishing for walleye try using a silver plated lure or a vibrating lure, because walleyes don't have very great sight and that will help them find your lure faster.
Walleyes usally have an ollive-green back,golden sides and a white belly. Distinctive markings include a milky white tip on the lower lobe of the tail and a black blotch at the rear base of the spiny dorsal fin.
Oneida lake Tips

Early Season- Use BIG lures, the fish are tired from spawning and want a big meal without a lot of work. I recomend a Rapala Risto Rap. If that doesn't produce, use a 1/8-1/4oz. Bucktailjig tipped with a half of a worm.
Mid season- Jig it, Jig it, and when all else fails, use Jigs!
Fall- Wade out to sandbars, or weedbeds and fan-cast sliver, gold or other flashy stickbaits, such as Floating Rapalas, Or Thundersticks. Don't be afraid to use big lures, sometimes as big as 7 or 8 inches, the Walleyes are feeding like crazy to gain weight for the winter ahead.
Ice fishing- See ICE FISHING
My Favirite walleye jig:
Black or Purple 1/8 oz lead head
Black Bucktail
and 5 strands of rainbow flash-a-bou on the belly.
This is my mid season go-to jig
