VISION

By the year 2009,

Technology department

 shall have produced self reliant

students who will participate responsibly

in a diverse and changing world

equipped with practical skills,

advance technology application

and productive

work values.

 

MISSION

The department shall provide a learning environment

which is rich in adaptive technological knowledge; inculcate

commitment in work,  relevant curriculum and innovative

 projects and programs through continuous faculty

and facilities development.

 

GOALS
1. Provide access to timely ongoing training and support activities to meet the established technology standards for all educators and support staff
2.  Provide mechanisms to support staff needs on an individual basis
3. Provide access to professional development activities that promote research-based instructional practices
4. Assess need for teacher/student access to classroom technology other than computers
5. Provide adequate technology support services for existing equipment, network infrastructure, and software
6. Develop standards for adequate access to Internet-based resources including e-mail, World Wide Web, and distance learning
7. As a training system, technology can ensure readiness for professional and industrial careers. Provide students trainings on learning how to select and apply technologies to solve problems, who can maintain/troubleshoot these technologies, and who can work effectively in high performance work groups will have a clear edge when entering the work force
