About Me

I am Jayan. Nice to meet you over here. I belong to a Namboothiri family, Chengazhasserry Mana. My home is in South Vazhakulam and is equally near to Alwaye (Aluva) and Perumbavoor in Ernakulam Dist. (Cochin) in Kerala. Kerala known as “God’s Own Country” is one of the beautiful states in India.

Currently, I am working at Pharma Core, Inc. High Point, North Carolina.

I have been working at National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Maryland.

I did my schoolings mainly in Katampazhipuram High School (Palghat Dist.) and Kurichithanam High School (Kottayam Dist.). My whole college life was in Union Christian College, (U. C. College) Alwaye.

After finishing my masters in chemistry I joined Regional Research Laboratory, Trivandrum for doing research in Synthetic Organic Chemistry. I was awarded doctorate in 2001 from Cochin University of Science and Technology.

In 2003, I got married. Her name is Swapna from Erancheri Illam, another namboothiri family in Villiappally near to Vatakara, Kozhikode (Calicut).

We are blessed with a baby girl, Vaishnavi Arya Namboothiri, in February 2005.
