The Lost Kings is a reference to the other 7 kings who disappeared after the age of darkness. The main theory is that Lord British had a war that isn't being talked about. Most likely a political one where he corrupted the old druid religion by claiming their sacred sites were actually temples to virtue. One point of interest is that before British solidified his reign as king a group known as druids inhabited Sossaria. There were 8 shrines but they were known by different names. The druids were also masters of meditation, long before the bulk of the 'civilized' world had grasped its benefit.
The knights of our guild have accepted these virtues as a new face to an old idea, though the old ways need to be preserved, if not restored. Thus creating our charter: Sanct Wis Rel Tym (Protection of Wisdom in Changing Times).
Most guild members fall into two main sections, the mages and the knights. Xiag has headed up the mages for our guild, while El Scorcho has taken command of his knights. We do have members who fall outside these catagories so if you're interested in joining, please don't let that make the decision for you.
We are located on the Lake Superior shard, and do have characters on both Trammel and Felucca. When factions set in, we will allow guild members to chose their own sides. We are not strict role-players (thees and thous do not constitute role-playing). We'll happily just go whack monsters, practice battles with ourselves, or go to war with another guild. We would, however, like a little motivation as to WHY we should go to war. A note on PKs: We don't hate PKs. They aren't on our top 10 list in any stretch of the imagination, but PKing can be done well. If you just kill NPCs, miners or whack obvious newbies don't look to join here, we don't want you.
