| Article 1 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Section 1. The name of the organization shall be Castlewood Neighborhood Association | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Article II | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Purpose | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Section I. The purpose of this association shall be to enhance the area socially and to obtain physical security | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Article III | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Membership and Dues | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Section I. Eligibility for membership in this association shall fall into three categories: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| A. Non -property owning residents | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| B. Non- resident property owners | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| C. Resident property owners | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Section II. Annual dues will be collected from members according to their category of membership, the amount to be designated in the By-laws. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Article IV | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Officers | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Section I. The officers of this organization shall be a president, vice president, recording secretary, corresponding secretary and treasurer. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Section II. Officers shall serve a one year term of office. Eligibility for office shall be limited to three consecutive terms | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Section III. The duties of the officers shall be: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| a. The president will preside at all meetings within the association and will represent the association. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| b. The vice president, in the absence of the president, shall perform the duties of the president. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| c. The recording secretary will record the minutes of all meetings. The corresponding secretary will carry on all correspondence for the association, and notify the members of all meetings. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| d. The treasurer will keep the financial records, open a checking account for the association, make financial reports to the association, and provide financial records for yearly audit. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Section IV. The officers of the association shall be selected from and by the membership at large. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Amendments | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Section I. Amendments to the Constitution shall be made by approval of two-thirds of the voting membership present, with ample notice to be given to the membership. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
