Know as "PARAT MADHOM" this ancestral house stands on 22,500 square feet of land and is approximately 150 years old and still going strong.
It belongs to a total of 20 families consisting of 84 members. It was built by my great great grandfather Mr. Moopiley Krishnan Kartavu in the 19th century.
It is situated on the bank of the Periyar River in a town called "Alwaye" from Ernakulam
District in the south indian state of Kerala.
My Grandfather's name was Mr. Neelakanth Pillai and Grandmother's name was Mrs.
Dakshayani Pillai.
