| Creative Master Northcord Limited Unofficial "Sprinter" web-site Product Guide : ukbus 2000 range Plaxton (& successor) President bodywork |
||||||||||
| The ukbus 2000 range began with ukbus 2001, an Open Top version of the Plaxton President-bodied Dennis Trident in Edinburgh Tour (City Sightseeing) livery of Lothian Buses. Although surprising at the time, this was the first of a run of "Commissioned" Open Top models in City Sightseeing livery - see here The first 3 "standard" issues showed the same diversity demonstrated in the ALX400 range (see here). 2002 was single-door with additional luggage racks, 2003 was to London specification and 2004 was the same single door former Airlink bus as modelled in ukbus 2002, but minus the racks etc. As previously, this range has included models that have been tweaked to match the prototype buses and include interior seating layouts, CCTV / plasma screens, tree deflectors and revised rear light clusters . Go Ahead's special rear destination screen was made as a revised casting on the Brighton and Go North East models. |
