I've got so many photos now, that I've decided to reorganize them. It may take a while, so bear with me. I'm going to start this page with the oldest photos, and have other pages for cemetery photos, source documents and more modern photos. And with more and more high-speed internet and higher powered computers, I'm going to start adding some larger photos, so you can see them better. I origially made these small so they'd load faster. |

This photo must have been taken before 1912 (the year Lewis Mines died), assuming that is Lewis in the center. From other photos, I know that's his wife Carrie to the left of him. In the front row are their sons Lloyd, Roscoe, Caddy and Wilbur, with an unknown person on the far right. I used to suppose that the other adults are Lewis's children from his first marriage, but the more I learn, the less sure I am. My new theory is that they are the families of Carrie's nieces, Alice Williams and Emma Rose. Emma and her husband can be seen in the center of the other group photo below. See if you think Bob looks like the gentleman in the bowler hat in this picture.. |

Cousin Hank Mines says this was taken in 1920 at his father's house. In the front row are Wilbur, Margaret, Lloyd, Delbert and Roscoe Mines. In the back are Caddy Mines, Ella Edwards (sister of Zoe), Dorothy Mines, Emma Shreves Rose (Carrie's niece), Bob Rose, May Holeton Mines (peeking out), Zoe Edwards Mines and Carrie Titchenal Mines. Margaret and Delbert are Caddy's children. |

The back of this photo says "Uncle Ed and Uncle Jim". Considering the photo's owner, that would likely make this Edmund Fittro (husband of Minerva Mines) and James Harvey Mines. Since Jim died in 1926, this has to be before that year. |
