For four decades, CMLI has been contributing to the intellectual, social and cultural growth of our young through workshops, symposia, seminars, exhibits, talent competitions, and scholarships.


CMLI relentlessly endeavors to respond to contemporary realities, sponsoring projects that raise the level of social concern among the young and inspire them to translate idealisms into constructive activities.


Objectives

* To establish and administer a library and museum to give proper direction to the youth's natural tendency to do research and collect things;

* To discover the youth's talents and motivate them into further honing their gifts;

* To develop critical thinking and creativity at the earliest possible stage;

* To foster national and international friendship, fellowship and the spirit of joy and giving;

* To train the young to be good citizens and responsible leaders, help mold their character and engender in them love of the country, respect for its ideal, culture, traditions, and environment towards the attainment of Filipino nationhood.


The CMLI Junior Council

The CMLI Junior Council (JC) comprises the youth force of the CMLI. It is consist of student leaders from different schools nationwide. It has the following objectives:

1. To instill in the hearts and minds of the Filipino youth the need for national awareness and involvement;

2. To train the youth to become responsible leaders of the country;

3. To unite the Filipino youth to the cause of freedom and democracy;

4. To organize and mobilize the Filipino youth into a potent force to effect constructive changes in the society.


Organizational Structure

* National Executive Board (JC-NEB)

Executive power is vested in the JC-NEB. It coordinates all the national activities of the JC. It is composed of officers elected during the CMLI National Convention in Baguio.

* Regional Executive Board (JC-REB)

It acts as a liaison body between the JC-NEB and the local chapters found within their respective regions.
