This is a well-balanced formation which uses two wing-backs to suport the attackers. The wing backs should create plenty of chances for the forwards. A widely used formation which many of the top manager use.

A defensive formation which should be used to defend a slender lead from the first leg of a cup tie. The formation requires three defensive midfielders which may be hard to find.

A mildly attacking formation which uses an attacking midfielder and two wingers. Shoul produce plenty of goals without providing toomuch risk depending on the players in your squad.

This is a very strange formation which is rarely used. I would advise against using it unless you are a very compotent manager who knows how to handle your squad.

Made famous by Terry Venables in Euro 96 this formation is fairly effective and should acheive some good results. Two att6acking wing-backs will lend support in attack.
