| President's Note Another summer is waning fast. It doesn't seem like we had much of a summer with all the rain and cool weather. So autumn will either feel much the same or be an early start to winter. Thanks to everyone who attended the August 22 meeting. We have new members and a few more that should be joining us shortly. We are well over 50 members now and it's great to see so many involved. Unfortunately we recently lost a long-time member, Henri L. Baxter, IIl. We would like to extend our condolences to his family. However, the volunteering for additional events is still wavering. This will surely limit our involvement in community activities so I hope that more of you can take a day or two to help. Our last meeting for the year will be December 5 in Coxsackie before all the holiday events begin. I'll have more details shortly. Rodney S. Andrews 2009-2010 |
