| Cumberland Marine Electronics was established in 1999 by owner Justin H. Schair and eventually joined by co-owner Samuel B. Van Dam in 2000. CME began business with exclusively equipment installation. In 2000 business was expanded to sales as well as consulting. Services are offered throughout the Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts coasts, providing reasonably priced, quality installation service. As part of the business's philosophy, CME works with its customers not only to purchase and install the equipment, but also to find the products that fit the customers specific and individual needs.
