I am a 50-something year old woman, wife, mother, and retired school social worker. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, and attended the Graduate School of Social Work there. I worked for the Pittsburgh Public Schools, as a kindergarten teacher and school social worker for 32 years. |

Joe and I have been married for 37 years and have two daughters, a son-in-law AAAAand 2 grand daughters -- Anna born on Jan. 31, 2005 and Miriam, born on Dec. 23, 2006. Joe is a retired high school physics teacher and a graduate of the University of Dayton (nerds make GREAT husbands ;-) Bethany our younger daughter is a graduate (with Highest Distinction!) from the University of Toronto, having majored in anthropology and in all things Canadian. She is working as a social worker for an area agency for the aging here in Pittsburgh. She also works part time at Borders Books. She has an apartment in the Friendship area of Pittsburgh. Megan, our older daughter, is a graduate of the University of Virginia, with a Masters Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a librarian by profession and is currently a fully time mommy. and has been married for six years, to Jason. They live in Friendship, not far from Bethany. Jason graduated from Notre Dame and the University of Michigan Law School and works as an attorney in Pittsburgh. |
