Training Camp 2008
Dates: June 28- July 2 
Medical and Registration Form:
Times: June 28 @ 10:00am - July 2 @ 9:30pm
***Please bring this form, completed, with you to Training Camp***
Travel info: Site available June 27 after 3:00pm and until 11:00am on July 3 for those travellling from out of town
Dress Code:
-Tank tops must cover the bra area, including straps and underneath the arms (no speghetti straps)
-Shirts must be long enough to reach the bottoms during all activities
-Shorts must be longer than your finger tips with your arms resting at your sides
-Bathing suits are PREFERRED to be one-peice
-Pictures and messages on clothing should also be appropriate for a camp that is not only Christian, but also that has campers as young as four.

What To Bring

BRING:
-Casual summer clothes for 5 days
-Toiletries
-Towel and Face Cloth
-Bathing Suit and Beach Towel
-Sneakers
-Long Pants and Sweatshirts (for the evenings)
-Flashlight
-Hat or Head Scarf
-Sunscreen (min. SPF 15)
-Bug Repellant (Cream kind only)
-Sleeping Bag (and Sheet)
-Pillow
-Wind Breaker
-Waterproof Outerwear (jacket/pants/footware)
-Quebec Health Card
-Gaspe Hospital Card (if applicable)
-All Medication for the Week in Original Containers
-Smokers: Supplies for five days and a note of permission from a parent/gardian if under 18

-Watch
-A Binder, Paper, and a Pen/Pencil


OPTIONAL:

-Sandles (must have back straps)
-Sunglasses
-Musical Instruments


DO NOT BRING:

-Any articles of value
-Large sums of money
-Electronics (MP3 player, cell phones, personal DVD players etc.)
-Lighters or matches (if not a smoker)
-Laser pointers
-Aerosol or vaporized sprays (deoderant, perfume, bug repellant, body spray, hair spray, room spray, etc.)
Standards Manual
Camp Fort Haldimand uses its Standards Manual to guide the code of conduct for staff, volunteers, and campers.  It is more then a rule book but it does also include various rules and guidelines that you must be familiar with.  Please print, read and understand it before coming to training camp, also you must bring your copy with you.
