Students become involved in the disciplinary process due to their behavior. Below are links to information about problematic behavior and ways to help students.

When students receiving special education services misbehave in a consistent and persistent manner, a meeting should be called to address the behavior and brainstorm interventions to correct the behavior.  Often it helps to label the behavior--that's where the definitions come in.  Below are just a few of many links that offer descriptions of behavioral disorders/ problems, and offer possible solutions.
