About Squash

(from NU Squash) The Northwestern Club Squash Team is a competitive program with matches in the Chicagoland area and across the country. The team travels to several states including Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut for competitions against varsity programs like Colgate, Hamilton, and Denison.

In 2001-2002, NU Squash had a 4-6 record against other undergraduate squash programs, including a win over Penn State, a revenge from the 2000-2001 season.

The team won the Chaffee Trophy at team nationals for the second time in school history, and it finished the season ranked 33rd out of the 38 competitive intercollegic squash programs in the country.

Squash season runs from mid-October to the end of February. During that time, team members practice two days a week, Sundays and Wednesdays, for 2- 3 hours each session. Practices take place from 4-7 PM at the the Northwestern University rec center, SPAC.
