Topic: Photos. Background: Recently, Yahoo! gave us ten more megabytes of space for photos, raising the storage space to 15mg. Unfortunately, we're still stuck with only so many photo albums and so many photos in them, which means we can use bigger, fatter pictures, but still only the same number as before. PHOTO ALBUMS PERMISSION: Good suggestion though Ben, to give the founders a choice of whether members can create albums.     Yes, this is something we want to offer with the merged product. The founder will have the ability to control who has access to post photos and files.   BRIEFCASE: For any club it would be nice for people to be able to use a post to display their pic or drawings. They could also display their message too. I think this is great especially for clubs that fall in the Creative Arts...like Righters Block...on of my clubs. I have an activity called RB gallery, and if I were to have a post concerning RB gallery (where I pic one's artist's photo or pic for the week for display)...it would be cool.     We do plan to have full briefcase capabilities in Clubs as part of the merged product. Then you can upload whatever type of file you like, including drawings. Although, i'm not sure why you couldn't do this now with the photo albums. Just scan your drawings and be sure to save them as GIF or JPEG files.     Warren, you don't understand... IN THE POSTS...hehe. That is what I was talking about..hehe Nile     OOOOH... well lucky you. This will be available with the merged product as well. Take a look at eGroups, they currently allow you to attach files and pictures to messages if you so desire. PHOTO SPACE: I have heard a rumour that the space for the photos section in Y! Clubs is going to increase from 5M to 15M. Is there any truth in this and if so when is it likely to happen?      It's already happened, and it's actually 25 MB of space in the photo album section now. PHOTOS PER ALBUM: More photo albums for our clubs to go along with the extra Megs they provided us. At least upgrading the albums to 36 photos per album like we have in our briefcases.     Yes, this is also in the works... we're actually planning to merge the Yahoo! Photos stuff into Clubs. No definite time frame on the full integration, so I made sure you at least got a boost in storage space in the meantime. Hope that's ok for now. Hang in there! MOVING PHOTOS: Thanks for the additional space. I would like as a founder, the ability to move photos from one album to another (much like we can do w/briefcases). More albums for a club.
