Most of the remains of the olden grandeur lies scattered in form of ruins, many of which still not discovered by the Archaeologists and Historians. These places could be visited as a trek or on Mountain bikes only. The activities are numerous, you will never run short of Adventure...

It's a wild, wild world out here, as you are confronted with Jungles,
Ancient Ruins and wildlife! Bordering
mighty Yala National Park, amidst every type of Wild Animals, you
expect to see in Sri Lanka. The simple people living in these villages are known to live with nature rather than confronting
it, for centuries ! Walk with a farmer to his "Chena", vegetable plot
cultivated by slash and burn method. Spend the night on a watch hut, with
the friendly farmers to drive away the intruders.... we mean, wild
elephants! The lovely village reservoir is ideal for a plunge during the
heat of the day, just to cool off. Yes, watch out for Crocodiles as they
are numerous here...
