ummm.. Tribes is a FPS much like DF... it allows (though Tribes 1 & 2..i must admit i haven't played the 1st!.... is wholly a multiplayer game.... theres no 'set' missions and if you want to play by ur self.. you will be playing against (and along side) other bots... in games of DM, KOTH stuff like that!
Tribes2 allows you to switch between "characters" during (basically three types Light,Medium, Heavy... just like sniper,gunner etc etc.)real time gameplay.
Sooooo... ur playing and you want to change weapons and or characters just jump on this pad and whamo! you can fly planes (space ships either 1 maned or transports with gunner pilot and stuff...you got tanks again theres a driver and a gunner...you got little speed bikes and stuff! Games can consist of up to ummm.... i think its 134 or sumthin..I've only played with 64! (now thats lagggg!) hundreds of voice dialogs...and many many more are dowloadable.. stuff like get outta the f...en way...blah b;ah!!!!
