During the Wicked Clowns from Outer Space tour after watching hours and hours of wrestling on the bus in Denver, CO. Violent J came up with a brainstorm, like he does on many other occasions. Since Juggalo's loved wrestling so much but weren't happy with what was going on in the WWF or WCW. Violent J came up with Juggalo wrestling by Juggalo's for Juggalos, the concept was to bring
the wildest, sickest wrestling
that only Juggalos would
appreciate. And J called it
Juggalo Championshit (with a
"T") Wrestling and for the
whole next leg of the tour J
and Rude Boy came up with
matches for the first ever show
in Detroit at St. Andrew's Hall.
It's always been dreams as
young ninjas growing up that J
and Rude Boy would one day
become wrestlers and JCW has
made that dream come true. Some of the matches that we came up with were Rude Boy vs Abdullah, which rude boy always wanted to wrestle hardcore wrestlers like him when he was young. Then they brought in there childhood favorites Iron Sheik, Rock N' Roll Express and King Kong Bundy. But we knew Juggalos wouldn't like just seeing two old ass guys in the ring wrestling so we made it funny. Like seeing Rock N' Roll Express strictly for a Battle Royal match and seeing our own skinny ass Tom Dub wrestle a 400 lbs King Kong Bundy. But we also knew we had to show Juggalos the hardcore ruthless shit, so we brought in people like Mad Man Pondo and Fat Fuck Barrel Boy. Thumbtacks, Light Bulbs, Barbwire, and Death matches, things that were only seen in Japan at this time, were also allowed. After the Detroit show the first two champions were Evil Dead after winning a Battle Royal and ICP after defeating Doink the Clown and Dink the Clown in a tag team match. We then decided to bring out the videotape, the video was more successful then we could have imagined. It was in Billboard magazine and was always in the Top Ten non-recreational videos just behind the WWF and always in front of the WCW, so we knew there was a demand for it. The next stage was to go out and tour JCW all over the country. When we decided to take it out on the road it had to be with all the sick and twisted acts you see in the video. When all the Independent wrestlers saw Vol. 1 of JCW they began to contact Psychopathic to be a part of the JCW tour. Violent J, Rude Boy and a couple of other Psychopathic employee's handpicked all the wrestlers that went out on the tour. At this time they were scrub wrestlers that WCW and WWF would have laughed at, nobody could have guessed that they would have turned out to be Juggalo superstars. So we started the tour in Denver the state that we had originally came up with the idea for JCW in. But JCW on tour was not like any other wrestling show that you have ever witnessed. It was more concert atmosphere. Kids hanging from the rafters and just having a Juggalo party. And we took it through 18 cities and in the end Psychopathic lost an amazing $200,000 on JCW. After 3 days of wrestling at the Gathering of the Juggalo's 2001, we probably had the tightest crew of all time. Sabu, Vampiro, Mad Man Pondo, Hollywood Chuck Hogan (Tommy Star), The Rude Boy, Psychopatrick and Tom "the scrub" Dub are just some of the wrestlers JCW had to entertain the Juggalos in the ring. With the success of JCW Vol. 2 you can expect more from Juggalo Championshit Wrestling in the future such as another JCW video or another tour of the US.
