As most of you know, the Dark Carnival is lead by The Ringmaster, while the other 5 faces run the show and the attractions. Carnival of Carnage, while not being one of the 'judges' he is the one that maintains the carnival, the rides, the big tops, all of it. Next is the sinister Riddle Box. He is one of the judges between you and Shangri-La. When you step into the darkness and walk through death itself, you will find a box with an aged question mark on it. Turn the Crank. While you turn you are seeing your life go through your eyes, how you lived. Were you good? Were you bad? The Riddle Box decides! While if you lived a good life you are granted a vision of God and eternal life, but if your deeds were evil, a strange mist rises out of the box and fills the room, while slowly the head of the mighty Riddle Box appears from the dark confines of the box. This is but a meer vision of your evil deeds. For if you weren't so greedy... you just might have made it. For these poor souls the Earth beneath them crumbles away, leaving them to fall in their infinite resting. Hell. Thus ending the Riddle Box's judgement. The next of these 6 faces is The Great Milenko. He is you, you are him. He is the ancient priest of Necromancy. Of magic without magic, from the nevervoid of the Shadow-Walkers. He does not have a special judging task, yet he see's all you do. Every blink, every twitch - He knows of how you lived, your secrets, your lies. He is the one that also tries to help you in life, trying to show you that greed and hate is not the way. If you do not heed his warning, you could end up as one of those poor souls tormented in Hell for eternity. The next of these are the Amazing Jeckel Brothers, Jack the sinister and Jake the just. For after your death you will see a vision of a candle, glowing brightly, from the flame of this candle the Amazing Jeckel Brothers form. Their task is a judgement. For they take all of your sins and form them into glowing balls to juggle them, the more sins you committed the bigger and heavier these balls become. Yet if just one drops your hopes of Shangri-La are forever shrouded in the smoke of your own deeds. The first of the act, Jake - the youngest and weakest - will juggle them. If they are to heavy for him to carry the act goes immediately to Jack - the older stronger brother. If they cannot complete the act for the weight or they drop one of the glowing spheres your poor soul is the sad fate of the Carnival Dominions taking your soul away to the pits of Hell. The sixth Joker's Card has just been revealed as The Wraith. It has not falled yet, but it is said that when it does (which will be this Nov. and sometime later next year), the end of time will consume us all. Will you pass these tests? Only you can tell. |
