win at Hartland. A looping header from Marten Stanbury and a good finish
from Matt Hewis meant Clovelly ended the Premier Division season on a high.

| The game
against Boca Seniors was a poor game with both sides without many regulars.
We went ahead through Sean Trigell and then drew level with a Paul Taylor
penalty. Boca were a bit too strong and scored two more goals to kill the
game off. We had our chances to be three or four up in the first half but
it was not to be. South Molton on Saturday is a big game!! - Report

| Two quality
goals from Rob Ousley and Daniel Slee gave Clovelly a massive win over
Ilfracombe in their battle against relegation. Ousley put Clovelly in front
in the first minute, finishing well after being put through by Adrian Barker.
Clovelly had the better of the first half and retained their lead going
into the break. Ilfracombe created a couple of chances in the second period
but found Damien Braund in good form. The closest they came was a free
kick with struck the outside of the post. Clovelly should have had the
game won way before Daniel Slee added the second goal. Matt Hewis and Matt
Ross both came close as did Slee himself, but the decisive goal was worth
waiting for. Slee picked the ball up 25 yards out and hit a super lob which
gave the 'Combe keeper no chance and secured a much needed three points
for Clovelly.

| The game
at Georgeham was overshadowed by a car accident prior to the game causing
injury to Matt Flisher and Ronnie Ellaway. Clovelly decided to go ahead
with the fixture despite only having ten players. Georgeham took full advantage
hitting the target six times and Matt Ross' deflected strike was all Clovelly
could find in response.

| At
times we played some excellent football on Saturday. The first half flowed
from end to end with chances for both sides. Rob Ousley then made a great
run to get on the end of an Adrian Barker corner to put us in front. The
next 20 minutes up to half time were full of chances for us and we were
unfortunate not to be further ahead. After half-time we started slowly
and were punished after a number of corners as Holsworthy drew level. We
continued to create chances but tired legs in the last 10 minutes and a
well taken free-kick meant the points stayed with the hosts. - Report

| Victory
at last!! An excellent squad performance with our three goals coming from
the three substitutes used. Ronnie Ellaway with his first goal for the
club (25 yard thunderbolt), Simon Reid and an excellent solo goal from
"Vincenzo" Thornton. Very poor first half ended 0-0. In the second half
we hit both posts and the cross-bar as well as the three goals and ended

| The
rot has been stopped in the most peculiar of ways! Almost a whole squad
unavailable, the worst I have ever known! We went to Dolton with 10 fit
players and I had to ask a couple of our injured players to stand in (one
as sub) to make the 11. Everything that could go wrong last week &
Saturday morning went wrong. The players that were there battled excellently
and there was a very impressive debut from Daniel Slee. The pitch was a
minefield, it resembled a donkey field, so football was extremely tough!
We went behind to a speculative free kick not too dissimilar to the Duff
goal against Man Utd last week. Two well worked goals from Paul Taylor
(one from the penalty spot) gave us the lead which we hung on to until
the 80th minute. Heads did not drop however and the point was fully deserved!
If we continue with that spirit there is a very good chance that we will

| A
sub-standard performance and poor refereeing cost Clovelly as they crashed
out of the Brayford Cup at the first hurdle. There wasn't much between
the sides in the first half as both teams struggled to string passes together
on a difficult surface. Putford broke the deadlock on the half hour after
a defensive mix-up allowed a Putford player to finish well from 12 yards.
Clovelly's best chance came when Ronnie Ellaway played Edward Johns in
and his lob beat the goalkeeper, but unfortunately beat the crossbar as
well. A poor second half performance was not helped by a poor refereeing
decision which followed a second goal for Putford. Matt Ross and Ian Chan
collided leaving Ross momentarily unconscious. The referee having seen
the incident refused to stop play despite two players lying motionless
and Putford capitalised to make it 3-0. Putford added a fourth late on
and Adam Barker missed a chance to pull one back soon after but it was
just not Clovelly's day.

| In
awful weather conditions Clovelly fell to their ninth successive Premier
League defeat at the hands of fellow strugglers Putford. Clovelly found
it difficult in the first half against strong winds and it was Putford
who took the lead with a speculative strike from distance aided strongly
by the wind. Luck was still in Putford's favour in the second half as the
wind dropped dramatically and they made it 2-0 as Clovelly attempted to
play a Putford striker offside to no avail. Clovelly did begin to mount
a fight back mid-way through the second half as a good move down the right
hand side ended with Matt Flisher crossing for Simon Reid to head home.
But as Clovelly pressed on looking for an equaliser, their defence fell
asleep and allowed a Putford striker a free header to put the game beyond
them.

| Miserable
weather was accompanied by a miserable performance. Although the injury
list reduced slightly we showed far too much Christmas spirit to a hard
working Bradworthy side. I am now looking forward to a three week Christmas

Once
again three late goals made the score look far from respectable. Simon
Reid equalised minutes after Shamwickshire took the lead and for long periods
in the game we were solid in defence although we didn't create enough to
hurt them. They scored some well-taken goals. Signs of improvement but

| Things
are just not going our way at the moment. We played some good football
and created chances but it just wasn't to be. We were very unlucky to be
1-0 down at half time and came out after the break and played well getting
an early equaliser through Marten Stanbury's fierce shot from outside the
box (one he will remember for some time). Bradworthy then went 2-1 ahead
with a lucky deflected goal and although we had some great chances to level
the game we were caught twice on the break to finish the game off. How
we left the field having lost 4-1 was a mystery to everyone!! - Report

| In
a game of few chances Northam Lions knocked Clovelly out of the Rowe Charity
Cup with a solitary first half goal. Clovelly didn't create a clear cut
chance in the first half but they had chances late in the second period.
Adam Barker ran through only to see his shot saved when perhaps he should
have squared it and Matt Ross hit a shot from 25 yards but saw it crash
back off the crossbar as Clovelly mounted a late surge. While they defended
well Clovelly once again struggled to find an end product to reward the
amount of effort put in.

| A
hardworking performance from Clovelly was not enough to prevent defeat
at home to title hopefuls Boca Seniors. In awful conditions Boca took the
lead early on before Greg Butler forced home his first Clovelly goal from
close range to equalise. Clovelly did have further chances that were not
taken whereas Boca found the net twice more before the break. Clovelly
continued to battle and despite conceding a further goal, Matt Flisher
finished neatly to pull the score back to 4-2. While Clovelly pressed on
looking for further goals, Boca hit back with a fifth goal on the break
late on to secure the three points.

| With
five players missing from the win over South Molton, Clovelly made the
long trip down to Brixham in the first round of the Devon Premier Cup.
Clovelly managed to contain a strong Brixham side until just before half
time where a scrambled goal gave Villa the lead. Edward Johns equalised
soon after with a 25 yard lob. In the second half Brixham scored two goals
in quick succession to give them a 3-1 lead but Clovelly refused to lie
down as Colin Harris lobbed the Brixham 'keeper with a 35 yard fee kick.
Brixham regained the two goal advantage but Colin Harris brought the score
back to 4-3 after walking through the Villa defence and embarrassing the
'keeper once again with another super lob. Things started to go wrong at
this point as Rob Ousley was very harshly dismissed for questioning the
linesman's offside decision and Adam Barker was unable to continue in the
late stages. Brixham took full advantage and found the net three more times
to give the scoreline a very flattering look.

seemed like a satisfactory away point became an unexpected three as Putford
were penalised for fielding an illegal player. Matt Ross put Clovelly ahead
mid-way through the first half and would later have to take over in goal
after Damien Braund suffered an injury. Matt Hewis and Matt Flisher had
chances to increase Clovelly's advantage but they had to settle for the
draw as Putford conjured an equaliser on the hour.
