Building Materials

Certain manmade materials can be used that are fire-resistant.  These will greatly decrease the risk of your house being destroyed in a fire, and will almost eliminate the risk of fires being started in you home.  You may not realize, but chances are, your home is already slightly fireproofed.  Most newer homes must adhere to building codes, many of which deal with fire safety.  (unfortunately, I could not get these codes here, you must pay for a copy.)
